HIGHLIGHTS: Long Glacier Hike - Camping in remote area

MEETING TIME & PLACE: 0845 Breheimsenter. We can also meet near                    the lake if you stay outside Jostedal the night before the                   tour (please ask for directions to meet)

YOU SHOULD BRING: Warm clothing (incl. rain jacket), warm hat and                    gloves, good walking shoes (tevas also), food & drink for                   min. 2 meals (& snacks), camera. Sleeping bag required.
WE PROVIDE: All kayaking and glacier hiking equipment.

TOUR DESCRIPTION: This tour can start in the morning (0845) or evening (1800), returning by a similar time the next day.  With the added bonus of spending an evening in this beautiful remote valley, comes the advantage of having extra time to explore the glacier. If we start the tour in the morning, we can wander over the glacier late into the afternoon, knowing we only have to walk a kilometre or so back to our camp site afterwards. Starting the tour in the afternoon is also possible, and use the next day to enjoy Tunsbergdalsbreen glacier to the maximum.
We also have the possibility of a hike up to abandoned støl (mountain farm huts) in a spectacular hanging valley after dinner, if we have the energy!
