MEETING:     1000 Breheimsenter, Jostedal. We wait for Glacier Bus,                   but recommend you stay in Jostedal after the tour, so we                   don't have a rush for the bus!

YOU SHOULD BRING: Warm clothing (incl. rain jacket), warm hat and                    gloves, good walking shoes are a good idea, but not                   neccessary, food & drink, camera.
WE PROVIDE: All kayaking and glacier hiking equipment.

TOUR DESCRIPTION: We begin with a 1,5 hour kayak to Austdalsbreen (Glacier) with its 25-50m high front that calves towers of ice into the lake. Kayaking around icebergs to get to this most untouched area captivates your senses. With the kayaks safely on the hillside, we have lunch at the front of the glacier. This is your chance to relax, ask questions, eat, while the glacier gets ready for its next calving. After the break we put on glacier equipment for a completely unique glacier hike. An easy walk amongst a myriad of crevasses across the front of the glacier completes the experience: kayaking up to; sitting in front of; standing on top of this natural wonder. Reality will eventually hit and it's time to kayak back to civilisation, taking with you a unique, impressing day of the glacier world
